Looking for a simple, soul-nourishing way to boost your mental well-being and connect with like-hearted women? Every week, I lead a free women’s walking group designed to do just that.
We meet year-round at 9:15 AM in Long Valley, New Jersey, exploring a different local trail or park each week. Our walks are about three miles long at a gentle, conversational pace (around 3 mph). It’s the perfect blend of movement, nature, and meaningful connection.
Research shows that group walks in nature can significantly reduce depression, ease stress, and enhance overall mental health. While this isn’t group therapy, many women experience similar benefits: greater clarity, deeper calm, and a strong sense of belonging.
Whether you're navigating a life transition, craving connection, or just want to start your day with good company and fresh air, you’re warmly welcome here.

Half Day and Weekend Wellness Retreats for Women
What you will receive in the ½ day retreat:
- Hatha Yoga/Gentle Stretching to ease tension and provide a sense of calm

For these in-person events, this self-care has immediate benefits for improving overall wellbeing and also sets you up to flourish in the future.
This 75-90 minute healing circle is designed to help you:
- Elevate your mood and foster peace and joy in the present so you can flourish in the future
- Provide clarity and guidance regarding an issue in your life
- Receive support from other women in a non-judgmental environment
- Foster a sense of connectedness to something greater than yourself
- Quiet your mind and negative thoughts and release tension
- Create space for self-love and self-compassion
- Enjoy soothing sights, sounds, and scents
- Inspire the transformation you’ve been yearning for
What will we be doing during this healing circle?
- Sitting on the floor on yoga mats, pillows, and blankets and relaxing with candles and music (chairs available if you do not wish to sit on the floor)
- Learning methods to address personal growth and development
- Reflecting and journaling with prompts
- Group meditation related to self-love and self-compassion
- Peaceful quiet time to appreciate your senses and just be
- Optional sharing for the opportunity to receive support and guidance
- Creating your plan of action to address an issue with gained clarity, support, and guidance
The location is at a private, peaceful yoga studio in Long Valley, NJ. Exact location and directions will be emailed to registrants.

Hiking in Nature Events
The Healing Power of Gratitude and Nature
This event involves about 1.5 miles of walking/hiking at a slow pace. The area where we will be walking is flat, and either gravel or grass. Wear your sneakers or hiking shoes/boots - whichever you prefer.
For this event, you will be learning about the power of gratitude for healing, connecting to your life, and improving mental health. I will introduce you to The Grateful Day - 5 Daily Exercises in Gratitude in Less Than 5 Minutes a Day for Lifelong Wellbeing.
We will also engage in a gratitude exercise during the workshop that you can take home.
In addition to gratitude, we will be using the healing and growing power of nature. You will learn about what water and trees do for our physical and mental health.
We will engage in a gratitude walk - utilizing the healing power of both gratitude and nature.
The workshop will also include opportunities for sharing and connecting with other women.
